BLOOMDALE — Elmwood opened its first season of Blanchard Valley Conference football by handing Riverdale its first loss of the season, 46-32. It is Elmwood’s first win of the season against two losses while Riverdale falls to 2-1. Elmwood back Brennan Hiser ran for 243 yards on 37 carries, quarterback Pierson Parsons completed 14-of-18 passes for 144 yards, back Andrew Traxler ran for 68 yards on 17 carries, and Ryken Zeigler had 14 yards on two carries.
