Republican Yemen The Iran-backed Houthi insurgents executed 9 individuals, including a 17-year old boy, on Saturday over the death of former leader Saleh al-Samad, sparking outrage across the six-year war-torn country. The rebels claimed the accused individuals were involved in the death of al-Samad, former president of the so-called Supreme Political Council who was killed in an airstrike in April 2018.
