Israeli forces shot a Palestinian fisherman in Gaza on Thursday, hitting his leg, one day after Israel loosened restrictions on fishing in the besieged enclave's waters. Israeli naval forces shot at multiple Palestinian fishing vessels, Palestine's official Wafa news agency said on Thursday, resulting in one fisherman being injured. These ships were approximately six nautical miles away from the Sudaniya beach, which is in the Gaza Strip's north. The man was struck in the left thigh by an "explosive" round near Abasan Al-Khabira, a town close to an Israeli security fence, Wafa reported.
