Baghdad, SANA- Iraqi President Barham Salih discussed with Syrian Ambassador in Baghdad, Sattam Jadaan al-Dandah bilateral relations between Syria and Iraq and situation in the region. The Iraqi Presidency said in a statement of which SANA received a copy of it that “during the meeting the relations between the two countries which have close and historical ties were discussed, and the importance to develop them to serve the safety, stability, and interests of the two countries, in addition to continuing the fight against remnants of terrorism.” The Iraqi President affirmed that the countries of the region face a great responsibility to overcome crises, and tensions, pointing out to the need
