Didier Notheaux, ancien joueur et entraîneur de Rouen en France, passé aussi par les sélections du Burkina Faso et du Bénin, est décédé à l'âge de 73 ans, ont annoncé ce mercredi 18 août plusieurs de ses anciens clubs. Après avoir notamment entraîné Le Havre, Reims, Rennes et Sochaux, celui que l’on surnommait « Attila » est nommé sélectionneur du Burkina Faso en 1998. Il parvient à qualifier les Étalons pour la Coupe d’Afrique des nations 2000, mais il ne la dispute pas. Il revient en Afrique en 2007 pour prendre les commandes du Bénin pendant seulement quatre mois, avant de retrouver le Burkina Faso une seconde fois (2007-2008).
