La lanceuse de javelot polonaise Maria Andrejczyk, médaillée d'argent aux Jeux olympiques de Tokyo, a mis aux enchères sa distinction pour cofinancer l'opération d'un nourrisson souffrant d'une maladie cardiaque. « J'espère que cela symbolisera pour vous la vie pour laquelle nous avons combattu ensemble », a-t-elle écrit ce lundi 16 août sur Facebook. Les enchères ont rapporté 200 000 zlotys (environ 44 000 euros).
