Vallecito, CA…The Bureau of Reclamation announced that a day-use fee of $8 per vehicle will be charged at Natural Bridges Trailhead, located at New Melones Lake off Parrotts Ferry Road, beginning today. Fees collected will enhance area security, staffing, and facility improvements. The area features a moderately strenuous, .7-mile trail leading to a unique series of limestone caverns (natural bridges) carved out by Coyote Creek, which feeds into New Melones Lake. This area also includes a parking lot and picnic tables along the trail and near the natural bridges.
