The Adahi Project, co-implemented by Qatar Red Crescent Society (QRCS) and Widam Food Co. during Eid al-Adha achieved its goal of reaching out to as many beneficiaries as possible. According to Muna Fadel al-Sulaiti, executive director, Volunteering and Local Development, QRCS, the project provided food aid for vulnerable families and groups, with the aim of achieving food security, establishing a glorious act of worship in Islam and making it easier for Muslims to offer the ritual sacrifice during Eid al-Adha.
