Al Meera hosts ‘6th annual Local Date Festival’

Al Meera is once again hosting the annual ‘Local Date Festival’, with this sixth edition running from July 19 to August 11, 2021. The event builds on the success of the 2020 festival and forms part of Al Meera's ongoing effort to support local products, farms, and Qatari producers. This year’s festival is being celebrated at many of Al Meera’s branches, including the recently opened Jeryan stores. The locally produced Rutab dates will be available to customers, along with a range of promotional offers on various types of local dates. The 10 participating farms aim to sell 27 tonnes of dates.
