Republican Yemen A landmine planted by the Iran-backed Houthi rebels killed two brothers in Al Jawf province, northeast Yemen, local sources said. According to the sources, Mohammed La’asham Baqa, 27, and his brother Shamsan La’asham Baqa, 30, were killed on Wednesday when their car ran over a Houthi-laid mine in Al Habeel road, a road that links Al Jawf to government-held Marib city. This comes only one day following the injury of four civilians due to an explosion of a landmine laid by the Iran-aligned Houthi rebels west of the six-year besieged city of Taiz.
