It’s been five years since the controversial Bollywood film Udta Punjab released globally, winning accolades and awards for its lead stars and makers. Yet, it comes as a surprise to many that Shahid Kapoor, who walked away with the Best Actor trophy for his role as rockstar Tommy Singh, was not the first choice for the character.
