Le Tribunal arbitral du sport (TAS), instance suprême en manière de litiges sportifs, a réduit de 12 à 9 mois la suspension infligée au gardien de but André Onana par la confédération européenne de football (UEFA) en février 2021 pour un manquement aux règles antidopages. « La formation du TAS a […] constaté qu'aucune "faute significative" ne pouvait être imputée à André Onana qui aurait ingéré par erreur des médicaments destinés à une autre personne », indique un communiqué. Le portier de l’Ajax Amsterdam, âgé de 25 ans, pourra retrouver les terrains à partir du 3 novembre 2021.
