Les proches de Floribert Chebeya et Fidèle Bazana commémoraient ce mardi 1er juin le 11ème anniversaire de l’assassinat des deux militants des droits humains, suite à une convocation par la police. Le lendemain, le 2 juin, le corps du premier était retrouvé ; celui du second ne l’a pas été jusqu’à aujourd’hui. Après des révélations sur notre antenne, l’organisation la Voix des sans voix a déposé mardi 1er juin un mémorandum à la présidence de la République pour demander un nouveau procès. Le principal suspect, le général Numbi, vient lui d’être déclaré déserteur par l’armée. La voie est désormais ouverte pour des poursuites judiciaires.
