Developer Arada has awarded the first two contracts for its $2.2bn, 19m sqft Masaar mega community that is taking shape in the Suyoh district of Sharjah. The developer said the deal for infrastructure design and supervision consultancy services was awarded to Parsons Overseas, while the contract to build the Masaar Experience Centre and show villa went to ASGC Construction. According to a statement, Masaar boasts 4,000 villas and townhouses set in eight gated communities, all located in a forested and nature-filled masterplan.
