Worshippers will be able perform evening prayer and Taraweeh – the Ramadan prayer – in mosques as of Friday, the Minister of State for Media Affairs, Sakher Dudin, said on Wednesday during a press briefing. Dudin, who is also the government spokesperson, said that public parks and shops will also be allowed to reopen as of Friday. “While we are fully aware that easing the restrictions will increase the pressure on Jordan’s health system, whose workers (are) fatigued.
