Taiz: Govt official dies of COVID-19, others in critical condition ...Yemen

Republican Yemen Taiz Sub-governor Dr. Abdulhakim Awn died on Tuesday of coronavirus while other sub-governors are in critical condition, medical sources said. According to sources familiar with the matter, top-ranked sub-governor in Taiz, Dr. Abdulqawi al-Mekhlafi has been in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) since last week after being infected with the virus. The sources added that Director of the Intelligence Security in the governorate, Abdulwahed Sarhan, has been admitted to Al Thawra Hospital as his health condition worsened.
