South Dakota’s top prosecutor will face no felony charges for hitting a pedestrian with his car and leaving the victim to die while returning from a Republican fundraiser last summer, authorities said Thursday. Instead, Attorney General Jason Ravnsborg has been charged with careless driving, veering out of his lane and operating a motor vehicle while using a mobile device — all misdemeanors.
