While you can shop at Costco on most days of the week, with Independence Day creeping up quickly, that may be one of the first places you're thinking of stopping by to grab any of your essentials. As the warehouse sometimes closes its doors on holidays, though, it's easy to wonder: Will Costco be open on Fourth of July?

Is Costco Open on Fourth of July?
Fourth of July celebrations usually can go one of two ways. It can become a full out backyard boogie down with friends and family, or it can just be a day of rest and relaxation as you're home from work. Whatever way it is that you choose to celebrate your independence, if you want to head out to shop on the day, Costco may not be the place you'll want to stop by.
According to the warehouse's site, all Costco stores will be closed on Fourth of July. Every year, the popular retailer closes its doors for seven holidays—including Independence Day—to give both its workers and customers a chance to stay home and spend time with their loved ones.
If you're still hoping to get some shopping in, though—which isn't totally unexpected—you may want to stop by on July 3 during regular hours. Don't want to run into those last-minute shoppers? No worries. Costco will re-open its doors on July 5 during its regular operating hours. While that may vary depending on your location, Costco’s doors are generally open from 10 a.m. to 8:30 p.m., Monday through Friday with Saturday and Sunday both seeing closing times of 6 p.m. But for those who are considered Executive Members, you can actually shop at the warehouse an hour earlier at 9 a.m.
