Anna Wintour may have stepped down as Vogue’s editor-in-chief, but she’s not slowing down.
On Monday, June 30, the fashion icon made her first public appearance since leaving her longtime gig at the iconic magazine back on June 26. True to her legendary style, Wintour made a bold statement with a floral top, matching skirt, and bright yellow sandals while sitting front row at Marc Jacobs' Fall 2025 show during New York Fashion Week.
Per usual, Wintour completed the look with her signature bob and black sunglasses. Accompanied by Jacobs' publicist, Michael Ariano, the 75-year-old arrived at the New York Public Library, where she took her seat in the front row next to models Bijou Phillips and Valentina Ferrer, plus other notable socialites and celebs.

Wintour’s decision to step down from the top position at Vogue after almost 40 years shocked the fashion world last week. And while she’s no longer editor-in-chief, Wintour will continue in a vital role as Condé Nast's chief content officer and Vogue's global editorial director, per WWD.
The fashion powerhouse stepped into her role in 1988, and became one of the most known figures in fashion journalism. Under her leadership, Vogue transformed into a global authority on style, setting trends and influencing the fashion industry at large. Wintour was known for her sharp editorial vision and played a pivotal role in launching the careers of many designers, such as Jacobs and Alexander McQueen.
In addition to her editorial work, Wintour introduced the Met Gala in 1994, which evolved into one of the biggest fundraising events for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute, which thankfully, she will still be involved in after stepping down as EIC.
