B&M has slashed the price of a stylish garden furniture set by £75, but shoppers will have to be quick to snap up the bargain.

With temperatures set to peak at 36C today, Brits across the nation will taking to their gardens to bask in the heat.

And what better way to enjoy the sunshine than by treating yourself to some brand new garden furniture.

And although you may think that purchasing a new outdoor sofa set will be pricey, many retailers are currently reducing their garden tables and chairs.

B&M Outdoor Sofa

B&M has slashed the price of its New York Corner Set by £75, a saving of 21%.

The sofa set, which was originally priced at £350, has now been reduced to £275.

The chic set comes with a small table, perfect for placing drinks and picky bits on, and a corner sofa and cushions.

The black and grey sofa comes in a either a two seater (135 x 71 x H64cm) or three seater  (206 x 71 x 64cm) size, making it perfect for hosting small family gatherings.

B&M said: “Relax in comfort and style in your outdoor space with this New York Corner Set.

The sofa set can be purchased in store or online, however, it is currently low in stock, so you will have to be quick to snap it up before it’s too late.

CLEANING your outdoor furniture and furnishings is a relatively easy task, and requires household items already in your cupboards.

Before cleaning your outdoor furniture ensure that the surfaces are free from excess debris and dirt from your garden, and remove any outdoor cushion covers where possible, as this will make the cleaning process much easier. 

In a bucket of warm water, add a few drops of mild laundry detergent or washing up liquid to create your cleaning solution. For any tougher stains, such as harsh water stains or mildew, apply undiluted white vinegar to any stains and let it sit for about an hour in the sun. 

       3. Use a soft bristle brush to rub away stains 

Using a soft bristle brush, gently rub your cleaning solution onto your garden furniture in small circular movements. After scrubbing, take a clean damp microfibre cloth and ensure that all detergent and soap suds are removed from your garden furniture. 

After cleaning, take a clean towel and absorb the majority of moisture off your garden furniture and then simply leave in the sun to dry.

According to the expert, all you need is a brillo pad to spruce up your rusty metal outdoor furniture.

Nothing dates outdoor furniture more than rust but thankfully, it can be easily cleaned off.

And what better way to do so than using an inexpensive Brillo pad, which prove to be great for surfaces such as steel or cast iron.
