Beloved 1990s band Counting Crows recently kicked off a summer tour, and everyone is totally blown away by how amazing they still sound, 30 years after they were in their heyday.
Fans have had their biggest hits, including "Mr. Jones," "Round Here," "Rain King," and "Hanginaround" playing on repeat for decades. However, there's one song in particular, a powerful ballad, that continues to tug at the heartstrings for anyone who hears it.
At a recent concert, people couldn't help but notice the raw emotion in lead singer Adam Duritz's voice as he performed "Color Blind."
It's obvious that he's feeling the lyrics here just as much as everyone listening to them.

Someone else added, "Pull me out from inside has to be one of the best lyrics ever written. So layered."
Another fan of the tune said, "The amount of times this song has popped into my life when I’m so broken."
Someone else noted, "This song makes me feel melancholy and at peace at the same time."
And one more person mentioned how incredible Duritz's talent is, saying, "Adam Duritz channels emotion like few others can. One of my favorite live performers."

While the lyrics to the song conjure up emotions in just about everyone, "Color Blind" is also so memorable and impactful because it takes everyone straight back to an iconic scene from the film Cruel Intentions.
When Reese Witherspoon's character, Annette, gets to the top of that escalator and sees Sebastian, (Ryan Phillippe), standing there waiting for her, you could instantly feel the love between them.
No one could possibly ever forget this powerful movie moment, and no matter how much time goes by, we can't possibly resist melting into a pool of feelings every time we hear "Color Blind."
Counting Crows' next show is tonight, June 26 in Boston, and they have dates scheduled into November. This is one band you don't want to miss seeing live if you're lucky enough to get the chance.
