New questions continue to surface in regards to Ana Bárbara Buhr Buldrini’s tragic death.
After reportedly going into cardiac arrest and dying hours after undergoing plastic surgery, one family member claims the influencer allegedly hung out with one of her doctors the night before her procedure.
In a new interview with Brazilian news site G1, Buldrini’s brother, Bruno Buhr, alleged that the 31-year-old went partying with her husband, Elgar Miles, and the surgeon the night before the fatal procedure.
When Buldrini and Miles asked about changing the date of the surgery, the surgeon reportedly had “scheduling issues” and kept the procedure the day after.

“We went to the clinic on Sunday just to see the place, but the doctor wanted to perform the procedure without Ana being prepared,” Miles claimed to the G1 news outlet, per Daily Mail. “The doctor assured me that there were no problems and that everything would be fine.”
Buldrini ultimately underwent surgery in hopes of receiving a breast augmentation, liposuction and a nose job.
At some point, Miles alleged that he was sent a photo of his wife recovering. Hours later, he was told his wife had died.

I waited for one hour and 15 minutes to see her. I went down to the ground floor and a doctor said that her heart was beating slowly, while another said that she was already dead.”
Abdullah Emre Güner, who is the Istanbul Provincial Health Director, stated that Buldrini died “as a result of serious complications that arose during the awakening phase,” according to The Latin Times.
Family members, however, are still reportedly investigating and trying to understand what happened.
The doctors who worked with Buldrini were allegedly detained at the hospital before being released by Turkish police. Tusa Hospital denied malpractice in a statement obtained by Turkish outlet Turkiye Today.

“Despite all efforts by our expert anesthesiology team, the patient could not be resuscitated,” the statement read, noting that the hospital is cooperating with authorities and will be determining her cause of death.
Buldrini was an influencer who amassed more than 797,000 followers on Instagram as she shared content about her singing career.
In one of her final social media posts before her death, Buldrini shared a snippet of her song “Wet” as she took in the sights and sounds of an undisclosed location.
