The View’sAna Navarro said that she saw her cohost Joy Behar make several demands when they recently enjoyed a meal out together at Porter House.
First, Behar joked that she’d “seen supermodels eat more” than what Navarro did during their dinner, which led to her listing off the items she indulged in.
"By the way, I don't know what you're going to do when they close that restaurant," Navarro continued, referencing Porter House’s upcoming closure. "First, it was too hot, so she told them to turn it down. Then, it was too loud, so she told them to turn the music off. Then, it was too much light, so she told them to put the shades down!"
While Sunny Hostin playfully reprimanded Behar by shouting her name, Alyssa Farah Griffin saw no problem with Behar’s behavior.
"She's Joy Behar! She's earned it!" Griffin said.
Behar then shocked everyone at the table when she revealed that the restaurant “even lets her dogs come” to the establishment. However, Behar couldn’t hide her disappointment in Porter House’s impending closure, which she said she believed was possibly due to “incredibly high rent.”

"I resent it, and I don't like that because I love that place," Behar added. "I have so many friends who work there, all the waiters and sommeliers and the maître d's."
The longtime star of the daytime talk show has never been one to hold back on her thoughts on everything from politics to food. In 2015, she caused a bit of an uproar on Morning Joe when she criticized the gluten-free community.
“How annoying are people who want gluten-free when they go into a restaurant?” Behar asked. “I find it irritating. ‘Is this gluten-free? No. It’s bread.’”
When she was asked about the people who have celiac disease, Behar replied, “How many people actually have celiac disease? How many? I’m sure it’s just a bunch of baloney.”
She has seemingly kept that same energy and in 2024, her best friend Susie Essman from Curb Your Enthusiasm bragged about how great of a cook Behar was, but she couldn’t enjoy one of her signature dishes.
"Um, she's a terrific cook. She makes a mean lasagna, baby,” Essman told Andy Cohen in 2024. "But, I'm gluten-free, and she refuses to try to make a gluten-free one. I think it's a problem."
