Andy Cohen is making it clear that he has a lot of love for Gia Giudice and her family.
“I am not a producer of Next Gen NYC. This is the first I am hearing of any discord surrounding Gia,” the Bravo executive, 57, said on the Monday, June 23, broadcast of SiriusXM’s Andy Cohen Live. “And I certainly only have positive feelings for Gia and her mom, Teresa [Giudice], the OG of New Jersey.”
When asked by cohost Jordan Fazio whether there was any truth to the speculation that there was “inappropriate behavior” with Gia and her Next Gen NYC costars, Cohen denied the rumors.
“No, nothing that I’ve ever heard of,” he said. “No.”

Cohen added that while he’s not involved with the spinoff — which features several children of Real Housewives stars — he is “really into” the series.
“All news to me, and by the way, I love Next Gen NYC,” he said. “Do not sleep on this show.”
In addition to Gia, Next Gen NYC stars Kim Zolciak-Biermann’s daughter Ariana Biermann, Kandi Burruss’ daughter Riley Burruss, Meredith Marks’ son Brooks Marks, Ava Dash, Emira D’Spain, Shai Fruchter, Georgia McCann, Hudson McLeroy and Charlie Zakkour.
Earlier this month, rumors swirled that Gia was fired from the Bravo show following a cheating scandal at her university. Gia took to social media to address the “dumb” speculation.
Gia Giudice Bronson Farr/Bravo“I’m not fired from Bravo. And that cheating scandal is just not true. That never happened,” she said in a video shared via X on Sunday, June 22. “I also graduated two years ago, and this story came out, like, two weeks ago. So you know the math is just not mathing. People are just bored. They don’t have anything better to do, or say, or post. But no, sadly, guys, I’m still on Bravo. Sorry to break your hearts.”
While Bravo fans have gotten to watch Gia grow up over the years on The Real Housewives of New Jersey, she has made a name for herself recently. Earlier this year, Gia launched her “Casual Chaos” podcast, and months later, she made her debut on Next Gen NYC.
Ahead of the premiere, Gia exclusively opened up to Us Weekly about her minuscule rift with Riley after Gia seemingly compared The Real Housewives of New Jersey to The Real Housewives of Atlanta.

“I literally saw a TikTok video about it too. It’s the same guy that always reports on drama. He actually [hit] the nail on the head. He said, ‘I don’t really think Gia was comparing Kandi and Teresa.’ I was not. In no way, shape or form,” she explained. “I literally was just trying to break bread, make some conversation.”
She continued: “All I was saying was, obviously, every Housewife franchise has its own niche. … But at the end of the day, they also have the same common denominator. They’re friend groups with drama.”
Gia shared that she was trying to connect with Riley over their shared reality TV experience.
“I really was just like, our moms are on reality TV,” she told Us. “They’re both on Bravo. I don’t know, she didn’t really like it, I guess.”
