Between the thin batter, the delicate flipping and the inevitable first one going straight to the trash, crêpes have always felt like a “restaurant only” kind of breakfast to me.

Sharaf’s version of crêpes is genius! The batter is baked in a 9-by-13-inch sheet pan, then spread with Nutella (or your favorite filings), then rolled up like a jelly roll cake. You still get the soft, tender texture of a classic crêpe, but without hovering over the stove.
You can get the complete detailed recipe in Sharaf's Instagram caption, but here' the gist. Start by whisking together eggs, milk and vanilla extract in a bowl. In another bowl, mix flour and sugar, then combine the wet and dry ingredients. Once mixed, stir in melted butter.
Let the batter rest for 10 minutes (this helps the gluten relax, which will give you more tender crêpes). Grease the pan well, pour in the batter and bake at 390° for 12–15 minutes, until it’s just set and lightly golden.
While the crêpe bakes, whip up your filling. You will need heavy cream, powdered sugar and vanilla. Whip until soft peaks form and chill it until you're ready to assemble.
Once the crêpe sheet cools slightly, layer on a generous swipe of Nutella, the whipped cream and a big handful of sliced strawberries. Gently roll it up, slice it into pinwheels and dust with cocoa powder if you want to be extra (and who doesn't). Pro tip: If you have a serrated knife, this is the time to use it. The blade's teeth will help you slice through the crêpe roll without all of the fillings squishing out.
The final result is fancy swirls of fluffy cream, sweet fruit and melty chocolate all wrapped in a soft, thin crêpe. It looks like something you'd buy from a pâtisserie, but it comes together so easily.
