Two men facing charges related to drug busts in Ontario County

CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. – The Ontario County District Attorney’s Office have sentenced a 38-year-old man and indicted a 43-year-old man after long-term investigations.

Sharif Parker was sentenced on June 12 to 15 years in prison with 5 years post-release supervision on various charges, including criminal possession of a controlled substance, money laundering, conspiracy, and criminal possession of a weapon. He had previously plead guilty to these charges.

The attorney’s office says this marked the end to a multi-agency and multi-county investigation in the Finger Lakes that resulted in the recovery of over 10 kilograms of fentanyl, firearms, large capacity ammunition feeding devices, and U.S. currency.

On June 18, Jeffrey Johnson was filed a 23 count indictment and is charged with multiple counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance and criminally using drug paraphernalia.

Johnson’s charges stem from multiple search warrants that were executed on Feb. 24 which resulted in the recovery of about one kilogram of cocaine, one kilogram of ketamine, large quantities of LSD, MDMA, psilocybin and a large amount of U.S. currency.

Johnson will be arraigned on June 26 and could face up to 38 years in state prison.
