Popular performance energy drink brand C4 just announced a new flavor that'll fuel fans with the "nostalgic" feels of summers past during their morning commute or evening workout.
Joining its already healthy lineup of flavors (which includes Jolly Rancher-inspired sips, a Hawaiian Punch collab, as well as Popsicle flavors) is a "crisp" new variety that's officially releasing in just a few days: C4 Classic Lemonade.
The canned performance-boosting beverage features zero sugar or carbs, 200mg of caffeine and CarnoSyn Beta-Alanine, added as an endurance boosting amino acid.
Just all other C4 products–including the rest of its ready-to-drink line and pre-workout powders–the new Classic Lemonade Sports + Fitness Performance is NSF Certified for Sport, according to a press release, meaning it's undergone rigorous independent testing and evaluation to ensure what's in the product matches what is written on the label and that products are free from "unsafe levels of contaminants, prohibited substances or masking agents."

C4's new Performance Energy Classic Lemonade will launch exclusively on the C4 website this Friday, June 20, for $27.99 per case (comes in a 12-pack of 16-ounce cans).
The new flavor will later be available at major retailers nationwide, including online via Amazon, beginning Monday, July 7. But it's only sticking around while supplies last, so fans are encouraged to try it while they can.
That's not all C4 has planned to kick off the summer, it's also committing $400,000 to support local sports leagues, clubs, and teams nationwide this summer through its new C4 Local Legends initiative, which aims to give sports enthusiasts of all levels "the opportunities to play, train, and celebrate like C4 superstars Saquon Barkley, Bijan Robinson and CJ Stroud."
This summer, C4 will offer "sponsorship packages" to select teams nominated by their communities to offer funding that will cover the cost of gear, equipment, travel and registration fees, while "[elevating] their game, on and off the field." The C4 sponsorship package includes:
