Mendocino County Jail bookings: Tuesday, June 17, 2025

SHERIFF’S REPORTS

The following were compiled from reports prepared by the Mendocino County Sheriff’s Office:

    ASSAULT WITH A DEADLY WEAPON: Shane C. Palmer, 40, of Redwood Valley, was booked at county jail June 13 on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon. He was arrested by the MCSO.

    CARRYING A CONCEALED DIRK OR DAGGER: Seth L. Costa, 22, of Ukiah, was booked at county jail June 14 on suspicion of carrying a concealed dirk or dagger and tampering with a vehicle. He was arrested by the Ukiah Police Department.

    DOMESTIC VIOLENCE: Francisco A. OrtizGutierrez, 24, of Ukiah, was booked at county jail June 14 on suspicion of domestic violence, false imprisonment and assault with a deadly weapon. He was arrested by the UPD.

    DUI: Jesus A. RiosEscobar, 30, of Ukiah, was booked at county jail June 14 on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, child neglect/abandonment, and driving on a license suspended/revoked for DUI. He was arrested by the UPD.

    POSSESSION WITH PRIORS: Shawn M. Miller, 36, of Ukiah, was booked at county jail June 14 on suspicion of possession of a controlled substance with priors, possession of a controlled substance and drug paraphernalia and violating his probation. He was arrested by the UPD.

    DUI: Jason L. Fryman, 40, of Willits, was booked at county jail June 15 on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol and driving on a suspended license. He was arrested by the California Highway Patrol.

    DUI: Justin E. Quinliven, 32, of Laytonville, was booked at county jail June 15 on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, illegal possession of a firearm, possession of a controlled substance and violating his probation. He was arrested by the MCSO.

    Those arrested by law enforcement officers are innocent until proven guilty. People reported as having been arrested may contact the Daily Journal once their case has been concluded so the results can be reported. Those who feel the information is in error should contact the appropriate agency. In the case of those arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of an intoxicant, all DUI cases reported by law enforcement agencies are reported by the newspaper.
