Police detectives are on the hunt for a serial killer with a disturbing line in needlecraft in the new BBC One thriller Ragdoll.
There are six murders to solve and a killer with a hitlist still on the loose.
Based on the novel of the same name by Daniel Cole, Lucy Hale, Henry Lloyd-Hughes and Thalissa Teixeira star as the detective team who must find the murderer before he strikes again.
Created by the team behind Killing Eve, Freddy Syborn is the lead writer and executive producer for the show, which was originally released on Alibi in the UK in 2021.

Nicknamed the Ragdoll, police launched a major investigation to find the serial killer behind the grim discovery.
Assigned to the case are newly reinstated DS Nathan Rose (Lloyd-Hughes), his best friend and boss, DI Emily Baxter (Thalissa Teixeira) and the unit’s new recruit, DC Lake Edmunds (Lucy Hale).
The ‘Ragdoll Killer’ taunts the police by sending them a list of his next victims, and included in this inventory is the name of DS Rose.
With the need to protect this fresh set of targets, the officers soon came under intense public scrutiny.
Ragdoll follows their trials and tribulations as they struggle with the consequences of institutionalisation and trauma.

Lucy Hale stars as Detective Constable Lake Edmunds, a former New Jersey police officer who is a new recruit to the UK force.
American actress Hale, 36, is well known to television audiences as Aria Montgomery in the series Pretty Little Liars.
She has also starred in Bionic Woman, Privileged, Life Sentence and Katy Keene.
On film, she has appeared in Truth or Dare, A Nice Girl Like You, Inside Man, The Hating Game and Which Brings Me To You.
Henry Lloyd-Hughes
Henry Lloyd-Hughes plays Nathan Rose (Photo: :Natalie Seery/AMC/ Sid Gentle Films 2021/BBC)Henry Lloyd-Hughes is Detective Sergeant Nathan Rose, who becomes a target for the serial killer.
Lloyd-Hughes, 39, played Mark Donovan in The Inbetweeners and Culpepper in The Rotter’s Club. On television, he has also starred in The Indian Summer, Les Misérables, Killing Eve, The English Games, The Irregulars and We Were the Lucky Ones.
On film, he has appeared in Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire, Anna Karenina, Madame Bovary and Man Up and is set to appear in The Thursday Murder Club.

Thalissa Teixeira is Detective Inspector Emily Baxter, DS Slater’s best friend and boss.
The British-Brazilian actress, 32, began her career in theatre before appearing in the television series Trigonometry.
She has also appeared in Baghdad Central, Anne Boleyn and Alice & Jack.

The British actor, 48, began his career with the Royal Shakespeare Company before appearing in the films Alien vs. Predator, Vera Drake, The Ritual, Peterloo and Napoleon.
He played Much in the television series Robin Hood, DS John Burrows in The Trial of Christine Keeler, Ed Jarman in Stephen and Stephen Yarrick in Black Doves.

South London borough Southwark was a key area for location shots, using Camberwell Green Magistrates’s Court on Kimpton Road.
A flat on Scovell Estate was the backdrop for some interior scenes, and the estate itself provided the location for a chase scene with a moped.

The borough of Lambeth, also south of the river, also formed the backdrop for interior and exterior shots filmed in Slade Gardens, Stockwell Park Road, and Stockwell Park Crescent.
There were also some locations used in the north of London: York Way in Islington, Holloway Prison and inside Congress House on Great Russell Street in Fitzrovia.
When is Ragdoll on and how many episodes are there?
Ragdoll starts on BBC on Monday 16 June at 11.10pm
There are six episodes in the series, the second will be shown straight after the first at 11.55pm on Monday and then they will be shown on a weekly basis.
All six episodes are also available to watch from 16 June on the BBC iPlayer.
