Introducing the Greeley Tribune’s top high school girls athletes of the 2024-25 school year

As a sophomore, Eaton’s Delaney Reuter was almost always a stride or two — or three, or four — ahead of the competition this past school year, whether it be on the cross country course, track or even on the basketball court.

For that reason, and others, she was named the Greeley Tribune Girls High School Athlete of the Year.

Reuter is quick to give much of the credit for success to all the good people that surround her — coaches, administrators, teachers, etc.

There were also plenty of other great Northern Colorado athletes that surrounded her throughout this school year.

Many of those top athletes played the same sports as Reuter. Plenty did not.

But they all shared much of the same incredible success, and utter dominance, that Reuter enjoyed during the 2024-25 school year.

Here are the Tribune’s picks for the area’s top girls athletes in each sport during this past school year..

Stay tuned for the Tribune’s picks for the Boys Athlete of the Year and the top boys athletes.
