ROCHESTER, N.Y. – A person is dead after being inside a car that was on fire on Exchange Street.
Rochester Police say on June 8, they responded to the area of Exchange Street for a report of a car fire. After finding the car, police say it was fully engulfed in flames.
The Rochester Fire Department was able to put out the fire, where police say they then found the person dead inside the car.
Police are working with the Medical Examiner’s Office to identify the person inside the car. They say there is no indications of criminal activity and the car was already parked prior to the fire.
