Stevie Wonder reminded us all why he's still a national treasure with his recent appearance at the 2025 BET Awards.

The beloved music icon, 75, attended the event on Monday night, June 9, held at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, sporting an all-white ensemble that put his timeless and classic style on display.

Before unveiling Foxx’s tribute, Wonder lightened the mood with his signature humor, noting, “To be clear, I spent tireless hours watching and editing the footage for this tribute tonight. So please pay attention and enjoy.”

He then reminisced about first meeting Foxx: “I remember seeing you at a club … I knew from the moment I heard you sing that you had so much more,” he said, later quipping about Foxx’s famous portrayal of a blind man in Ray, while joking that just because he portrayed a fellow blind person in a film, doesn't mean they're "besties."
