DENVER (KDVR) — Part of Interstate 25 in Northglenn and Thornton is closed after a crash, causing backed-up traffic on Wednesday morning.
Traffic appears to be at a standstill around 6:10 a.m. after a crash closed I-25 southbound between 104th Avenue and Thornton Parkway. This is near parts of Northglenn and Thornton, between Exit 221 and Exit 220.

Multiple first responders appear to be on scene. COtrip said to expect delays of around 21 minutes.
I-25 is a common commute in and out of Denver. If you're heading to work on Wednesday morning in the area, plan to leave earlier or find an alternative route to work.
