“I can confirm that Smudge will be batting at four. Everyone else, I’m not willing to, but I can confirm Steve Smith will be number four.” Pat Cummins stated.
Steve Smith batted most of the time at number four in his Test career and has a splendid record batting at four. Smith scored 6531 runs in 120 Test matches, batting at the number four slot with an average of 61.61.
