NCIS star Brian Dietzen is on the mend after undergoing a laundry list of procedures following the conclusion of the long-running crime series' 22 season.
The beloved actor took to Instagram with a post-surgery update for his followers, who were quick to send their well-wishes after learning of his "hard and painful" problems.
"Soooo ready for summer in this stylish sling!" he captioned a photo of himself standing outside in the sunshine with a black sling secured around his right forearm by a series of straps that looped around his opposite shoulder and met in the center of his chest.
It was the result of a labrum repair, bicep tendon repair, biceps repair, and calcified rotator cleanup—presumably all completed at the same time, as he explained that he'd "been needing this for some time, and [was] glad [to] have the opportunity during hiatus."

"I feel your pain (literally!)," a third shared. "Sending you all the healing thoughts for a speedy recovery my dear friend!!??❤️?❤️????."
"Oh now, you poor thing. I wish you a speedy recovery," someone else wrote, in part.
"Whew! That’s a lot," somebody else sympathized, adding, "take it easy and heal well."
"Prayers for you," another sent out. "I’ve had that surgery and it was not fun!"
With NCIS and its spinoffs off the air until fall, Dietzen has plenty of time to heal up in the meantime.
