Mumbai Indians (MI) opener Rohit Sharma came up with a witty response to a young MI fan ahead of the Qualifier 2 game. MI will take on the table-toppers of IPL 2025, Punjab Kings, on June 1 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
Rohit was spending his time on the ground with the kids, and then a young kid came up with a quirky question for Rohit Sharma.

Rohit was seen in the Mumbai local ground playing cricket with the young kids. A young fan asked Rohit how someone could dismiss him.
‘Sir aapko kaise out karne ka? (Sir how to get you out?),” the fan asked.
“Nahi vo nahi ho skta (No that cannot happen),” Rohit quirkily replied.

All the young kids were wearing the MI’s jersey, including the Hitman. Firstly, they played cricket together, and then Rohit interacted with the young kids on the ground.
Rohit Sharma’s explosive inning in the Eliminator
Rohit in the knockout matches has been a love story as he delivered once again with the bat in the important game. Mumbai Indians were against the Gujarat Titans in the Eliminator.
The opener smashed a match-winning half-century as he scored 81 runs off just 50 balls with a strike-rate of 162. Rohit hit four sixes and nine fours in his knock and helped his side to post a mammoth score of 228 runs in the first innings.
Ultimately, MI won the match comprehensively by 20 runs due to the Hitman's efforts with the bat and Jasprit Bumrah's contribution with the ball. Rohit won the player of the match award. Mumbai will face Punjab Kings in the second Qualifier, and whoever wins the match will face Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the final of IPL 2025.

Rohit started this IPL edition on a poor note, but after some innings, Rohit picked up his form, and now it was the first time since 2017 that Rohit scored 400+ runs in an IPL season for two consecutive seasons.
The Hitman scored 410 runs in 14 innings at an average of 31.35. Rohit has scored four half-centuries in this season with a strike-rate of 150.18. He also scored four half-centuries in an IPL season for the first time since 2013 and will try to smash another half-century this season because Rohit never smashed five half-centuries in an IPL season.
