Jamie O’Hara has labelled the Conference League the ‘pub cup’ after Chelsea lifted the trophy.
The Blues secured their ninth piece of European silverware by beating Real Betis 4-1 in Wroclaw on Wednesday.
Goals from Enzo Fernandez, Nicolas Jackson, Jadon Sancho and Moises Caicedo saw Enzo Maresca’s side come from behind to win.
In doing so, they became the first club to win all three major European competitions.
It follows their two Champions League and Europa League triumphs as well as winning the UEFA Super Cup and European Cup Winners’ Cup.
However, O’Hara has slammed fans for claiming the triumph represents a ‘grand slam’ of honours for Chelsea.
Reacting to the final on The Sports Bar alongside Carlton Cole, the talkSPORT co-host fumed: “I’ve had a few messages off my Chelsea mates.
“‘We’ve done the grand slam, we’ve done the grand slam. We’re the biggest team in London, done the grand slam.’ Do me a favour.
“What are you on about? The pub cup doesn’t count. I don’t want to hear one Chelsea fan come on here and say ‘we’ve done the grand slam, we wanted to win this one’.
“They didn’t even want to celebrate. It was embarrassing. Real Betis was the only half-decent team they played and they won 4-1.”
O’Hara then ran through the Blues’ opponents on their run to the final.
Chelsea faced Gent, Panathinaikos, Noah, Heidenheim, Astana and Shamrock Rovers during the league phase.

The former Tottenham midfielder continued: “Normally I’d say good teams but I can’t even say that, they’re terrible. I don’t want to hear one Chelsea fan come on here and say ‘we’ve done the grand slam’.
“The only reason you’ve had the opportunity to do the grand slam is because you’ve been garbage and you’re in the pub cup.”
Chelsea are the second English club to win the Conference League following West Ham’s triumph in 2023.
However, unlike the Hammers, the Blues will not appear in the Europa League next term.
Instead, they are set to make their return to the Champions League after finishing fourth this season.
