“Phineas and Ferb” was created by Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh and first aired on Disney Channel on August 17, 2007, following the premiere of High School Musical 2. Season 5 will see the return of original cast members, including Vincent Martella, Ashley Tisdale, and Alyson Stoner, as well as some new additions, including David Errigo Jr., who will be taking over the role of Ferb from Thomas Brodie-Sangster, who voiced the role during the first four seasons.

This season also marks the first time the show will be airing since Disney+ launched in 2019. In addition to the show airing on Disney Channel and Disney XD, the first 10 episodes of the new season will be available to stream on Disney+ the day after its June 5 premiere.
