Savannah Chrisley Reacts to Trumps Pardon of Her Parents

Savannah Chrisley is celebrating. The Chrisley Knows Best star took to Instagram to express her tearful elation over the news that President Donald Trump has pardoned her parents, Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley.

"I have shed so many tears. The president called me personally as I was walking into Sam's Club and notified me that he was signing pardon paperwork for both of my parents! I will forever be grateful for President Trump, his administration, and everyone along the way...to make sure that my parents got home."

In June of 2022, the reality TV stars were found guilty of tax evasion and defrauding community banks out of more than $30 million in fraudulent loans, and in January of 2023 reported to their respective prisons. Todd was sentenced to 12 years at Federal Prison Camp Pensacola in Florida, while Julie was given a seven-year sentence to be served at the Federal Medical Center Lexington in Kentucky.

Since then, Savannah has tirelessly lobbied for her parents' release. The 27-year-old, who hosts the podcast Unlocked With Savannah, was granted custody of younger siblings Grayson and Chloe amid her parents’ sentences. She spoke out often about the toll their sentences were taking on the family, which also includes her 28-year-old brother Chase.

In February of this year, Savannah told People"I've had to work multiple jobs. I sell houses. I do podcasting. I do social media influencing. I do anything that comes my way," she said. "I'm no better than anyone else out here, to have to struggle. And I am not lazy. I know that I have two kids to provide for, and I know I have two parents that I need to get home."

Brighter days seem to be ahead for the entire Chrisley family — and sooner than later. "Both of my parents will be home tonight or tomorrow," Savannah shared on Instagram. "I still don't believe it's real. I'm freaking out!"
