Dr Pepper fans are rejoicing as the soda brand is set to bring back its beloved Vanilla Float flavor just in time for summer 2025.
The creamy twist on the classic fizzy beverage combines Dr Pepper's signature 23 flavors with a smooth vanilla essence, evoking the nostalgic taste of an old-fashioned ice cream float.
On Instagram, snack blog Mouth Attack shared news of the comeback release in a new post on Monday, May 26. "Dr Pepper has brought back its fan-favorite Vanilla Float flavor for a limited time in summer 2025," it announced of the seasonal delight.
The social media upload also shared insight on where to find the flavor. "Available in 12-ounce cans, Dr Pepper Vanilla Float is being sold in select stores across the United States. Given its limited-edition status, availability may vary by location, and it’s advisable to check with local retailers or online platforms for current stock," it added.

Originally introduced as a limited-edition selection in 2014, Dr Pepper Vanilla Float quickly garnered a dedicated following. Its popularity led to subsequent releases, including a notable return in 2017, and a few times since then. While the brand has not officially announced a nationwide release, shoppers are encouraged to check with local retailers on availability of the seasonal favorite.
The resurgence of the flavor adds to its lineup of innovative choices, such as the recently introduced Creamy Coconut, also set to return for the summer.
