CHICK-FIL-A has confirmed that it’s bringing back a cult favorite summer menu shake for the 16th year in a row.
The popular fast food chain sent fans wild after announcing they’ll be able to get their hands on the refreshing treat – but foodies have already found a recipe to make it at home for a fraction of the price.
Chick-fil-A recently took to Facebook where the chain revealed that the seasonal Peach Milkshake will be available very soon.
Fans of the fried chicken chain will be able to get their hands on the refreshing drink in a little over two weeks, starting June 9.
The limited-time offering is a hand-spun milkshake made with their Icedream dessert, peach puree, and topped with whipped cream and a cherry – the perfect way to cool off on a hot day.
The Peach Milkshake has been a part of the Chick-fil-A menu since 2009 and is one of their most requested milkshake.
Chick-fil-A also has other seasonal offerings, such as the Sunjoy (a combination of lemonade, iced tea, and white peach flavoring).
But if you – rightly so – cannot wait until early June, fear not, as making this sweet and summery delight of a drink is actually easier than you’d think.
All it takes is a handful of ingredients and your trusty blender to make this creamy and indulgent milkshake.
As explained and demonstrated by one foodie and recipe whizz, Rachel at Sweet Tea and Sprinkles, you’ll need:
Vanilla Ice Cream Whole Milk Frozen peaches Peach Simple Syrup Fresh Peaches Whipped Topping & Maraschino Cherry.THREE EASY STEPS
First add the ice cream and pulse until it begins to smooth. Add in the frozen peaches, milk and simple syrup and blend all the ingredients together until incorporated. Add the fresh peeled and chopped peaches to the blender and lightly pulse together until combined. (Chick-Fil-A’s recipe has yummy chunks of peaches throughout so don’t OVER blend during this step if you love little bit of heaven waiting for you in your shake!) Lastly top with whipped topping and a maraschino cherry.STORAGE AND REHEATING NOTES
Just like any other milkshake, this copycat Chick-Fil-A peach milkshake, tastes perfect when you serve it right out of the blender.
Recipe pro Rachel said she ”wouldn’t recommend storing the milkshake beyond an hour or two, max” – so make sure you and your family have it right away.
HOW TO MAKE IT THICKER
If your milkshake turned out runnier than you normally like, add You more ice-cream and less milk for extra thickness.
If you add more frozen peaches, make sure to increase the peach simple syrup so you can balance the tartness, the foodie added.

‘UPPING THEIR BEVERAGE GAME’
This comes after the popular fast food chain added new dessert offerings on the menu, including Icedream Spins and Floats.
Some, like food insider Snackolator, have high expectations for the Icedream Spins and Floats, per a post on Facebook.
“Chick-fil-A is upping their beverage game in huge ways with the new Icedream Spins and Floats that are going to be the new go-to option with any Chick-fil-A meal!” Snackolator exclaimed.
A picture the foodie included showed both dessert options, with the Icedream float having the chain’s signature vanilla Icedream swirled in a glass and surrounded by a fountain drink of a customer’s choice.
The Icedream Spin was wholly mixed with the soft drink like a shake.
