CHEAP homes can be hard to come by, especially in desirable locations, but there are a handful of gems across the US to explore.
Summer is right around the corner, and in order to hit the beach best, you need a home to go back to – so check these places out.
Cheap beach towns are essential for the season, as you head back after a long day enjoying the waves or relaxing on the sand.
For the second year in a row, Pascagoula, Mississippi was crowned the leader in beach house affordability, according to Realtor.com.
Jacqueline Ready, managing broker at Berkshire Hathaway HomeService Panoramic Properties, said: “Pascagoula has made a concerted effort to revive its downtown district over the last decade. We’re seeing the payoff at work.
“There are gorgeous waterfront and water-view homes, both historic and new build. The ancient oaks are just stunning, rivaling Savannah.”
But there are other places in the US that crack the cheat code for affordability and style.
Realtor.com compiled its list by analyzing a federal database of beaches and their locations.
