The Missouri Tigers have won 10+ games in back-to-back seasons under coach Eli Drinkwitz.
The Tigers have become a top-half SEC program under Drinkwitz’s leadership. Even if Mizzou does take a minor step back like many are predicting in 2025, Drinkwitz’s job in Columbia is secure.

Every year, Athlon Sports runs an article where anonymous SEC coaches way in on other SEC football programs. One coach praised the job Drinkwitz has done at Mizzou and said with another solid showing in 2025, he could end up at the top of the list for teams searching for a new head coach:

Mizzou has a fairly manageable schedule in 2025. An 8-win season should be in play for the Tigers. If Drinkwitz can get to 10 wins for a third-straight season, though, major offers could be in his future. We’ll see what happens and whether or not Drinkwitz would even entertain offers to leave Columbia at this point.
