Get ready once again to experience the impossible with Fort Bragg magician and mentalist Robert Goleman in his return engagement to the Willits Community Theatre on Friday and Saturday, May 30 and 31 at 7 p.m., and Sunday, June 1 at 2 p.m.
After his appearance last November, in which he thrilled and amazed a packed audience at the WCT Playhouse, he returns to offer up his deftly performed and gasp-inducing feats of mentalism, involving cards, passages from books, and the recognition of impossible numbers and information, chosen at random by audience members.
Since he was a little boy, Goleman has been practicing magic and mentalism, and has been performing for more than 50 years, staging large-scale productions with his former magic troupe, The Fabulous Blendos, presenting big box illusions, a juggler and a band.
In his current version, Goleman dishes up a personal brand of close-up parlor magic, as well as mentalism, where he astounds with his amazing intuitive abilities.
Goleman describes his show as an experience somewhere between belief and disbelief. “For my latest show, I start with classic style magic tricks, and take a sharp turn into mentalism, making revelations with an accuracy that will leave participants scratching their heads in disbelief – witnessing what should be impossible – before their very eyes.”
