Melrose Place star Heather Locklear is reportedly single and ready to mingle.
On May 23, Us Weekly reported that sources told the publication that Locklear and her fiancé, Chris Heisser, 63, have called it quits. According to the sources, Locklear is on the lookout for potential dates.
"Heather and Chris are no longer together. Heather is single and she’s ready to date again. She hasn’t seen Chris since the New Year but wishes him all the best," said one of sources, as reported by Us Weekly.
According to Us Weekly, the source also said Heisser and Locklear have a cordial relationship.
"They are still friends and support each other’s sobriety. They are not spending as much time with each other. It’s minimal. She’s focusing on herself. She is sober and doing really well," said the source to Us Weekly.
Us Weekly reported that Heisser and Locklear dated in the 1970s. They got back together in 2017 before calling it quits in 2019. They confirmed they had gotten engaged in 2020.
Locklear spoke about her relationship with Heisser during an October 2021 interview on The Drew Barrymore Show, hosted by actress Drew Barrymore. Locklear noted that she and Heisser began dating when they were in high school. She then shared that they reconnected "40 years later." After Barrymore put up a picture of Heisser and Locklear on the screen for the audience to see, the Dynasty actress acknowledged that she and her high school sweetheart had the same blond feathered hairdo when they were teenagers.
"I didn't even realize that he did his hair. But he, obviously, did his hair! He didn't say it," said Locklear during the interview.
Locklear has been married twice. She and her first husband, Tommy Lee, finalized their divorce in 1993. She and her second ex-husband, Richie Sambora, the father of her daughter, Ava Locklear, ended their marriage in 2007.
