A rematch of David Adeleye’s British title fight with Jeamie TKV could land on the undercard of Oleksandr Usyk vs Daniel Dubois 2.
Adeleye and TKV met in a fight which the former won in controversial fashion to scoop the British title last month.
TKV was floored having been ordered to halt the action and was eventually stopped by the referee after a barrage of punches hit the target as he rose to his feet.
An immediate sequel for the famous British title was ordered by the British Boxing Board of Control.
And Adeleye’s trainer, Adam Booth, has revealed the ideal plan is to stage it on the bill topped by Usyk and Dubois on July 19.
He told talkSPORT.com: “There is a London show on July 19 that would be the perfect fit.
“This fight is absolutely perfect for the undercard of Usyk vs Dubois.
“I’d love to get it done because I see his career being way beyond British level.
“I want to deal with this one exactly how he should have dealt with it a few weeks ago.
“It is heavyweight boxing, you are always just two fights away from being in the mix.
“We need a good year of progressive fights and being in the gym improving.”
Adeleye has aspirations of moving beyond this level, but was struggling against TKV, who boxed well.

The main event will be shrouded in equal controversy given Dubois’ controversial low blow against Usyk in their original meeting in 2023.
Usyk was dropped by a shot which was ruled ‘below the belt’ by the referee, and the Ukrainian was given time to recover.
And he went on himself to stop Dubois on his way to becoming an undisputed champion.
He will now get his chance to become undisputed for a second time with Dubois now holding the IBF world title.
