    Yellow Diamonds

Lots of potential at Yarmouth today with newcomers and two-year-olds looking to justify some big price tags.

Yellow Diamonds was purchased at the Breeze-Ups for 170,000 guineas and it’s no surprise either.

Her pedigree stands out being out of a two-year-old listed winner Flaming Princess.

One for Amo Racing who haven’t had the best of starts to the season but could have a smart type here.

    Amorim

The British Stallion Studs EBF Novice Stakes is another one for two-year-old debutants at Yarmouth today.

But the eye-watering cost of some of these should be enough to entice you to watch with Silent Applause a 1.4m guineas purchase from Godolphin having only been 70,000 euros as a yearling.

Dougie Costello comes in as the mount with William Buick occupied in Haydock with a few runners.

There’s not been a strong backing of this horse yet, which could come, but there’s just so many uncertainties with these kinds of races and a lot of hype to live up to just on the price alone.

I really like Amorim, great pedigree steady investment into the horse throughout showcasing his ability as a promising grey by Havana Grey and a nice each-way price too.

    Pearla

Only beaten by a head when prominent throughout at Newmarket on debut.

Should be able to get more from this as she reappears against Silent Love who she comfortably beat by a length in that debut race.

She does face Spirited Style now who William Buick takes the mount on instead, suggesting she’s the one to favour from Charlie Appleby.

However, she was slowly away on her debut two weeks ago and despite making good progress she may need another run before getting the keenness in check.

    Bond Broker

Won three in a row including on the flat and over hurdles before taking a surprising turn to lose as the 8/15 favourite last month when hanging badly left throughout.

Makes his chase debut today though and given his reduced mark from that loss stands a great chance of surprising a few as the outsider of just three runners.

Paul Nicholls has been having a great time of things over the last couple of months and looks to be in with a shot here with another hurdler turned chaser for the Owners Group horse.
