The Long Walk was well backed based on his appearance at Cheltenham in the Class 2 novice hurdle last month.
But he’s still only been far back in all his hurdle starts so far and may not be easy to back despite returning to maiden company and sticking with this step up in trip from the 2m.
Roadshow could benefit from a step up from 2m1f to 2m3f on what is just his fourth start over hurdles as the four-year-old has enjoyed a promising start.
Trainer Paul Nicholls is in great form too so it’s hard to see him put out a horse like this and not win with progression so likely.
The juvenile could have made more of an impact last time out with a better jump at the last so that signals more to come if improving.
Two To Tango has now had ten runs over hurdles now and has a big chance to finally shed his maiden tag here.
But with five 3rd place finishes I wouldn’t be confident despite his wind surgery likely having a better effect.
Ukantango
Can only see this race going the way of the well fancied Ukantango.
Has the lethal duo of Olly Murphy and Sean Bowen which is always a bonus in races like this.
The gelding returned to hurdling on his first start last month in just under a year and placed a respectable third of five, just seven lengths behind Glory And Fortune.
He was dropped another 3lb in the weights giving him even more of a chance to defy a low mark; back over hurdles, may have needed the run and up against a fairly weak Class 3.
A Dublin Job
Won on his first two starts over fences and as a result was raised a total of 18lb for those two wins.
Comes back after a long break but that could be exactly what this horse needed to come back and adjust to his new rating and still looks dangerously unexposed over fences having gone so well over them straight away.
Jacquelina
Glamorous Breeze is a nice each-way shot though her price is drifting steadily.
That’s not always a bad thing though and this mare’s record of finishing in the top three 27 times from 40 runs shows that she shouldn’t be discounted.
And at the very least backed each-way now that she’s still at this dangerous mark.
Only concern is her record when making a seasonal debut which is enough to put me off.
This race is wide open with a lot of drawbacks on plenty of runners.
One who is at a great mark with a solid record on the turf is Jacquelina.
Was 33/1 last time out at Newmarket and was less than three lengths off the winner.
Won off 3lb lower at Chepstow and has won here before too, so is an interesting one to back here again for the McEntees.
