Matt Venuti brings his AmeriCosmos and Music and Sound Alchemy performances to the Willits Community Theatre on May 23 and 24, both shows at 7 p.m.
Venuti is known for captivating his audiences with original music, using rare and expressive acoustic and electronic instruments that he was among the first to bring to the stage.
His AmeriCosmos performances fuse inspiring live music with majestic visuals from nature in the U.S., captured by Matt himself, and an awe-inspiring excursion into deep Space…with an exploration of Earth from far above.
His Music and Sound Alchemy concerts are multi-instrumental, improvisational journeys that transcend typical musical genres but are known to astound audiences with multi-layered improvisational arrangements, while conjuring a relaxing and heart-opening experience.
Currently based in New York, Venuti’s innovative music career was cultivated in San Francisco with his band, The Venusians. He has since performed as a solo artist on numerous national stages and high-profile events.
He’s been an Artist In Residence in some of our greatest National Parks and a featured performer at multiple TED and TEDx Conferences.
Two of Matt’s albums charted in the top 10 on College Media Journal and Zone Music Reporter. While his music transcends typical genres, his two shows at the WCT playhouse present a rare opportunity for an unforgettable journey through unique depths of sound and awe-inspiring visuals.
