Nintendo Switch 2 pre-orders live updates: Where to buy stock in the UK today ...Middle East

Let's get right to it. Today – Tuesday 20th May –  Nintendo and Game Collection are the only retailers with stock for the Nintendo Switch 2, although Very has been running in and out of stock this week. If you're quick you can get in your pre-orders before stock runs out again.

This new games console is set to be one of the biggest hardware launches of the past decade, rivalling even the PS5, and the general sale date is still weeks away.

Last month Nintendo itself issued an apology to fans stating they would struggle to meet the overwhelming demand faced by the Nintendo Store. But, on the plus side, they are now offering pre-orders to anyone with a paid Nintendo Store account. Meanwhile, shops like Amazon, EE, Very and JD Williams have all run dry.

At the moment, our best tip is to keep an eye out for bigger bundles that include the Switch 2 and other accessories. For instance Game Collection is running exclusive pre-order bundles for the console, a camera, two new games and a 256GB Micro SD Card, however, the price is nearly £200 more than the Switch's original RRP – so bear that in mind.

Which UK retailers have the Nintendo Switch 2 in stock?

Pre-orders have opened for the Nintendo Switch 2 across Nintendo and several third-party retailers, although, unsurprisingly, they have been running out of stock faster than Sonic the Hedgehog.

With that in mind, our advice would be to check all the pages to see if there's stock available left, and if not, register your interest at as many different sites as you can.

The Nintendo Switch 2 is back in stock at Very, but be aware it might disappear very quickly.

Nintendo opened its pre-orders for the Nintendo Switch 2 on Tuesday 8th April. Originally the Switch 2 was being offered out exclusively on an invite-only basis, but now pre-orders have opened up to all Nintendo Switch Online members with a paid-for account.

Currys

The Nintendo Switch 2 is now live on Currys, but out of stock for pre-order. However, some stores are offering pre-orders in person.
